Carmarthenshire school girl Erin Lewis and her mum Julia were lucky enough to be chosen to appear in a National Talent Show on CBBC called ‘Got What It Takes’ with Xfactor’s Lauren Platt. They were chosen as just one of eight pairs out of thousands of applicants! The talented singers and their Mum’s had to compete in this competition for 8 episodes while their mums battled it out against each other. The kids were learning from industry professionals and have been battling between themselves to win a place in the final! NOW THEY NEED YOUR HELP… To help get Erin to the final all you need to do is head to the CBBC website and register your details. Then after next week’s show has finished (Tuesday 4th April) you can vote up to 3 times via email!!
Erin not only earned herself the accolade of the title ‘Junior Voice of South Wales’ amongst other titles, She equally devotes her time singing in various events and works for local charities throughout South Wales. Julia is the landlady at The White Hart inn Llandeilo, she had to compete in lots of activities to win Erin a chance to perform. After seeing the advert for the show all it said was ‘is your mum up for a laugh?’ Julia didn’t realise how much actually was involved, but had the most amazing time with the other Mums with laughter and tears all round. They are the only welsh competitors flying the flag on a national television programme. At the end of the show her place will rely on a 24 hour public online vote on the 4th April 2017 to get her to the live final! Lets get voting.. #TEAMERIN
